Before using GpsCom, you should first copy the tool from the CDROM/DVD to your local hard drive. e.g. Now start the program via the batch file. e.g. "c:\cityguide\GpsCom\GpsCom.bat" Now configure settings such as baud rate and COM port, and make the connection to the GPS receiver.
In order to simply record the data from your GPS receiver, GpsCom can be used as a stand-alone application. For further information on this, please refer to the documentation for GpsCom. This may be found in the following folder: "c:\cityguide\GpsCom\doku\index.html" |
